A pocket-sized studio making fun games. Sometimes cozy. Sometimes loud. Always worth the wait.
Currently: two games, one bear, forty thousand bees, zero deadlines.

The games
One bear adventure. One neon shooter. Same studio. We contain multitudes.
A bear. A valley. A year to live in it — and a Hollow King trying to ruin all of it. Explore dungeons, crack open treasure chests, grow a farm, befriend the neighbors, and take back the valley one region at a time.
A classic top-down adventure crossed with a life you actually want to go home to. Original soundtrack, sixteen tracks strong.
You repossess cybernetics for a living. Bad news: you're behind on your own payments, and the company wants its implants back. Every single one of them. Starting now.
A fast, neon-soaked retro shooter. Classic first-person formula, modern shine, sixty frames a second.
Building both games at once, which is either ambitious or a cry for help. The bees say both.
Soon
Warm Regards playtest build. "Soon" is a unit of bee time; we don't fully understand it either.
Soonish
Real hand-made art lands in the valley. The placeholder bear has been informed and is taking it well.
Eventually
Warm Regards on Steam. Overdue arrives too — which, given the name, would be on brand.
One day
A bear plush, the soundtracks on vinyl, world peace. In that order, probably.
The staff
Small team. Excellent attendance, by bear standards.
The Bear
Creative Director
Has range. Cozy valley in the morning, neon shootout after lunch, nap in between. Non-negotiable nap.
The Bees
Scheduling Department, staff of 40,000
Ask when anything ships and they'll dance at you. It's a real system. It has never once helped.
The Mug
Head of Morale
Warm, dependable, has never missed a standup — mostly because it lives on the desk.
You, maybe
Producer, open role
Requirements: patience, snacks, no strong feelings about deadlines. Compensation: honey and gratitude.
The bear necessities
House rules we actually follow.
Slow is a feature
We ship when it's ready, not when the calendar says so. The calendar has never made a good game.
Fun first
Cozy, chaotic, or extremely loud — genre is negotiable, fun isn't. If it isn't a blast to play, it doesn't leave the den.
Play it anywhere
Both games run in your browser. Warm Regards is headed to Steam too. No launchers, no fuss.
Original everything
Worlds, characters, and soundtracks made in-house. If you've seen it somewhere before, we didn't make it.
About the name
Beehind Schedule is one very small studio making the games we'd want to play: some cozy, some chaotic, all of them fun, and none of them rushed.
The name started as a status report and stayed as a philosophy. Every game here runs late, lovingly, because we'd rather ship something worth your evening than something on time. The bees run the calendar. The bees are perfectionists.
Our current lineup is a bear adventure and a cyberpunk shooter about repossession. We will not be taking questions.
Testimonials we did not ask for and cannot verify.
“Five stars. Slow, but the honey was worth it.”
— A badger, probably
“They repossessed my arm in the first level. Ten out of ten.”
— A cyborg, allegedly
“The Hollow King should be stopped. Also, lovely turnips.”
— A concerned valley resident
Questions bears get asked
Frequently, and answered with great patience.
Constantly, and on purpose — it's in the name, it's in the workflow, it's practically load-bearing. The games come out when they're ready. We know. We're sorry. We're also right.
Yes. We make fun games, not one kind of game. The bear contains multitudes. The bees are just happy to be involved.
Not publicly yet — both games are in active development. The devlog, our YouTube channel, and the Discord are where builds, clips, and first looks show up first — Discord folks tend to hear about playtests before anyone.
Warm Regards is coming to Steam and the browser. Overdue runs right in your browser. If it can open tabs, it can probably shoot neon cyborgs.
Have you met a bear? Big, gentle, world-class at rest, occasionally chaotic. The bees came with the honey and simply never left. It's the whole brand, honestly.
Letters from the den
A short, honest email when there's genuinely something to show — new builds, new art, the occasional nap report. No schedule. No filler.
Coming soon
The email list is being set up. The bees are proofreading the first letter. You know how they are.
